1. Overview

FPhone is a VoIP SIP softphone app that connects to Asterisk PBX servers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is handled.

2. Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data.

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

• SIP credentials (server address, username, password) — stored securely in the iOS Keychain. Never transmitted to any server other than your own Asterisk PBX.
• Call history — stored locally in the app's private storage (UserDefaults). Not synced or transmitted anywhere.

3. Data Transmission

All SIP and RTP traffic goes directly between your device and your Asterisk PBX server. FPhone does not route any calls or data through our servers.

The app may contact fphone.flavioperrone.net to:

• Register push notification tokens (for incoming call notifications)
• Fetch phonebook contacts from your PBX (if enabled)
• Check extension presence/BLF status

This applies only when the app is configured to use the FPhone demo server.

4. No Third-Party SDKs

FPhone does not include:

• Analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
• Advertising SDKs
• Crash reporting to third parties
• Social media tracking

5. Permissions

• Microphone: Used only during active calls to capture your voice.
• Contacts (optional): Used to merge device contacts with PBX phonebook. You can deny this permission without affecting core functionality.

6. Data Retention

All locally stored data (credentials, call history) can be deleted at any time by using "Cancella Account" in the app settings, or by uninstalling the app.

7. Children's Privacy

FPhone is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
